Website Blog original project artwork

Project artwork is from the original presentation. The narrative below is editorial design rationale; it does not claim unprovided interviews, testing or measured business results.

01

Overview

Website Blog is an editorial web design exploring a readable, content-first blog experience.

02

The problem

A blog needs to help people choose an article and then get out of the way. Dense previews and inconsistent text hierarchy can make discovery and sustained reading harder.

03

Goals

Business

  • — Present a coherent product experience for readers browsing topics and reading articles.
  • — Keep the main task and supporting information consistent across the journey.

User

  • — Move confidently through article collection to related reading.
  • — Understand the current context and the next meaningful action.
04

Design scope

  • Information hierarchy

05

Product analysis

Scanning and sustained reading need different densities. Titles and summaries help readers choose; line length, paragraph rhythm and heading contrast support the article itself. Related content should extend rather than interrupt the journey. This is a design analysis, not a report of user interviews or usability testing. It frames the questions the product should answer without presenting assumptions as research findings.

06

Flows & architecture

The sequence below is an explanatory model of the main journey, not a screen-by-screen inventory of the original design file. Each stage establishes context, supports a decision or clarifies the result.

Article collection→Choose topic→Article preview→Read article→Related reading
07

Explorations & trade-offs

A magazine grid creates variety, while a uniform list supports predictable scanning. A restrained editorial hierarchy can surface important pieces without sacrificing consistency on article pages. These alternatives describe design trade-offs; they are not presented as archived wireframes or a record of tests that were not supplied.

08

Visual design & system

A consistent interface system connects typography, spacing, navigation and action hierarchy. Headings establish context, supporting copy explains decisions and primary actions identify the next meaningful step. Reusable patterns should retain the same meaning across screens. Color should reinforce priority or status, never be its only signal. Narrow layouts need to preserve reading order and legibility rather than simply shrink the desktop arrangement. The original visual treatment is available in the project artwork and Behance presentation.

09

Key decisions

Support two reading modes

Previews need concise context. Article pages need spacious text and a stable heading hierarchy.

Let typography create structure

Readable measure and distinct text levels organize content without framing every paragraph in a separate box.

Outcomes & learnings

The documented deliverable is the Website Blog design presentation on Behance. No verified launch metrics or usability results were supplied, so no conversion, retention or efficiency gains are claimed here. The design takeaway is to match hierarchy to the user's current decision. The evaluation questions below provide a concrete way to assess that direction with users.

11

Evaluation questions

  • Can readers choose an article?
  • Are heading levels clear?
  • Is reading comfortable on mobile?
